Well, not all plans develop as expected.
My original idea was to stay on the boat for the winter, but...
I had to realise - after intense lobbying from Alla - that winter time in the Mediterranean is not very interesting and actually also rather cold.
To make a long story short, we decided to go to Denmark to buy an apartment, in order to have a basecamp - which we did. Ended up in Næstved in a good location and an apartment that needed some refurbishment. So, we installed a new kitchen and a did a make-over on the remaining rooms. We are not completely finished but that just mean that we have something meaningful to do for the coming winter periods.
Additionally, I got the opportunity for a temporary job position on Cyprus, which I couldn't resist. After spending March and April in Larnaca with mostly work, we returned to Gruissan by the end of May.

Even though Cyprus was mainly work, there were also opportunity to relax - like here at Ayia Napa

Sakura in her winter berth in Gruissan. Pleasant local neighbours kept an eye on her and sent us monthly reports. Therefore we dared to leave her there

Christmas and New Year spent in Denmark with family and friends.

It proved impossible to have a French haul-up provider react to emails and web contacts - so had to go there in person to finally make an agreement.
They did the cleaning and painting, while I made propeller and sail drive maintenance myself.
