Quite an easy run, as usual with a mix of sail and engine.

We chose to skip St. Tropez port and continue to the bottom of the bay to Port Cogolin - due to the notorious high pricing and buzz in the St Tropez city port. Cogolin was a typical holiday town. Nothing special, but only a short bus ride from St. Tropez.

The bay of St. Tropez had, even at a day with zero wind, an unpleasant and unpredictable swell. Not caused by nature, but by all the passing super yachts and the motorboats, that seem to have an unresistable desire to burn fuel, running full throttle all the time. There must be a special place in hell reserved for them ;-)

St. Tropez is not very big, but stinking of money everywhere. This is really Cote d'Azur, but actually in a charming way.

Video shows the atmosphere in the port and the view to all the super yachts, lined up there.

St. Tropez is famous for the summer residence of Brigitte Bardot - and for the 'Gendarme' films by Louis de Funes during the 60'ties and 70'ties.

Various impressions from the quite enchanting city...
