Finally left French territorial waters on June 28'th - after more than eleven months.
A nice anchorage near Andora was first stop in Italy and the day after we continued the journey with a short leg to Loano.
Loano has nice beaches and beautiful mountains in the background - but for some reason it was not really appealing to us.
So, we decided to stay for only one night and continue to Genova, which was a milestone we had set to reach by the end of June - arriving on June 30, that proved to be right on time :-)

The area around Via Garibaldi is a UNESCO site, containing more than 100 palaces, each with the same floor plan - with a center yard in the middle.
